Intelligent Signal Displays In response to trends toward personalization, communication displays, driver assistance, and safety upgrades, intelligent signal displays have emerged and have been adopted in models such as IM Motors, GWM Mecha Dragon, Changan NEVO E07, Lynk & Co 900, and BMW iX3. Under current regulations, dynamic text/patterns or front communication displays cannot be activated while the vehicle is in motion; however, in static environments, intelligent signal displays can provide rich interactive functions, such as yielding to pedestrians, vehicle malfunction notifications, charging information, and hazard warnings. According to TrendForce analysis, future development will focus on P0.8-P2.5 displays and Mini LED COB technology. ams OSRAM has innovatively developed the ALIYOS technology, where Mini LEDs are arranged on thin, flexible, and transparent foils via nearly imperceptible metal flat cables. ALIYOS enables ultra-high freedom in Mini LED array distribution, forming individually addressable devices of any shape, allowing block-wise lighting control. This enables dynamic display of symbols, text, images, or abstract patterns for design, information transmission, or warnings. ams OSRAM is collaborating with leading global automotive Tier 1 suppliers and manufacturers to explore new possibilities for interior and exterior automotive lighting.
